Cover Grey With Bigen

I am the resource for my family when it comes to new beauty, grooming, and hair care items.  Whether it's to ask a question or try something new out of the beauty closet they come to me.  So when my mom started getting more grey hair than she would like to have, she of course came to me asking what she should use.

Ever since I began experimenting with henna, my mom has said she would like to try it but she's not really so sure about the whole process.  Immediately, I knew henna was not for her for a few reasons, number one it's extremely messy and you need to leave it on too long for her liking.  I knew that Bigen Semi Permanent Hair Color would be perfect for her.

I chose the Semi-Permanent over the Permanent because it is gentle, oil-rich, conditioning formula nourishes hair with natural moisturizers including honey, beeswax and sunflower, while providing long-lasting color without ammonia or peroxide. Safe for all hair types including chemically treated and relaxed hair. Bigen Semi-Permanent Hair Color leaves hair shiny, soft and beautiful with excellent gray coverage.  Since she wanted a little bit of a red tint we used the Medium Cherry Brown and it came out great!

Darken Up with Bigen

Ditch your lightened up look for a nice rich shade of chocolate.  Jennifer Aniston recently displayed her darker side for an upcoming movie role, but I think this look gives her an air of mystery.  Using Bigen Semi Permanent or Bigen Permanent Hair color anyone can easily achieve their own 'air of mystery', as well as rich healthy looking color.

Bigen Semi Permanent color is ammonia and peroxide free which makes them more gentle on all types of hair.  In fact, the Semi Permanent is so gentle you can use it on the same day that you apply a relaxer since it's full of oils and other conditioning ingredients.  To get a color similar to Jennifer Aniston's shade I would suggest trying the Bigen Semi Permanent in Medium Warm Brown.  I recently gave my mom a new color using Bigen Medium Cherry Brown, it thoroughly covered her grey hair and gave her, her own air of mystery with a cherry on top glow.  While, applying the color we both were pleasantly surprised at how great Bigen smells.  Once we rinsed it out, we were even more surprised that her hair felt softer than ever.

Bigen Brand Ambassador

I have awesome news ladies! I am now a Bigen Brand Ambassador, remember back when I dyed Gram's hair using Bigen and it covered her grey hair amazingly well? If not, go see. Anyway, we've been using Bigen Permanent Hair Color off and on since then and she loves it. Now while I don't actually dye my own hair (I use henna, remember?) I'm responsible for dying my mom and gram's hair regularly so I'll be posting on that, so if you've been dying to dye your own hair stay tuned for product giveaways, reviews, how-to videos, and more!

In the meantime, be sure to check out @BigenHair on Twitter. Plus you might want to friend them on facebook, since they just launched the Bigen Big Apple Sweepstakes, where Bigen is choosing one person plus a friend and offering one of four awesome NYC prize packages. The sweepstakes is running until June 26th so get on it!
